Hi Natalie,
What a joy to read this story that you wrote! I haven't had a chance to hear much about the trip so it was a blessing to read the story about how Lipuo touched your heart!

Hi to all those at Sunday School,
Love from the far north!

When I first read this, I knew it was a story that must be told.
I am 20 years older than Steph. I am probably older than Thuso's dad would be if he was alive today.
My first thoughts were of my father. Imagine what Thuso would have thought, if he had seen a picture of my dad.
I am so lucky that my father is still around and yet, it is so easy to just take it for granted.
The next time you look at your dad, think of Thuso. Remember how blessed you are and then say a little prayer for Thuso.

I find it interesting that John, called Jesus the lamb of God before he was crucified. Was that based on the prophesy of Isaiah that he knew that? Also a lamb is a helpless creature, who bleats when they are in trouble. Our Lamb of God was silent on the occasion of his suffering . I can not fully understand all that Jesus has done for me.

Stacey,

Thank you for your comments, it is great to know that the Studies are helpful.

I too pray that we will be open vessels for God's light to shine through in this world.

As someone once said, " I want to be like the moon, I only want to reflect the light of the 'Son'."

Hi Aubrey,

I finally got to do a study on line! I really enjoyed it. Of course, I did it just when God wanted me to, so that He could speak to me on certain areas in my life where I need to let the Light in.

I really appreciate the background; visual aids are always a bonus! I've always appreciated that in your sermons too.

This study had so many scriptures that had meaning for me. I relate to the man born blind because I've always struggled with my vision. I also remember many years ago when I started attending Central and Peggy "made" me give the children's story on this passage of scripture. I was working at the CNIB at the time. It really got me out of my shell and since then, I don't have any problem speaking in front of crowds.

John 9:41 -- glad I read this. I've told my kids time and again that we all make mistakes ... that's not necessarily sin. But when we are made aware of our mistake, we are responsible to make amends. If we don't, then that is sin. I could never remember where I read that in the Bible.

I am so grateful that Jesus is my light. I don't need to deal with everythng under my own power -- Jesus can light the way for me. Much more comforting than trying to stumble in the dark!

I pray that I may willingly continue to address the sin in my life and correct it, so that I will please my Father, and not be a hypocrite. I pray the same for many others who would call themselves Christians.

I was just wondering if you have an ''answer sheet'' I have just completed the 3rd study but am not sure if I have the right answers.
