Well, we didn’t make it 2,000 cans this week. When we hauled in our nets, our catch weighed in at 143 cans. This brings our net total thus far to 1,909 cans. Fishing season runs for another week and a half, closing on Labour Day. Let’s see if we can reach 2,500 cans. That would be a record catch.

On another note, I apologize for taking so long to get the update out. Something fishy was going on with the publishing tool on our website and it took a bit of back and forth between us and our provider to get to the bottom of it. With the problem solved, I’ll try to get back into the swim of things.

How’s that for fishy puns? Well in a couple of weeks, with fishing season coming to a close, I’ll have to start singing a different tuna.
